The 2005 program, EventZone's first Party in the Park series, proved to be a huge success with attendance reaching 13,000 people. With such a great turnout, EventZone was afforded the opportunity to contribute over $12,000 to the five event non-profit partner organizations. In 2006 Party in the Park had attendance of over 15,000 people. 

In 2013, Party in the Park moved from downtown Roanoke to the Daleville Town Center, and was welcomed by Botetourt as a family-friendly, weekly community event.
